PDF files are often protected secured with one or many kind of restrictions. Restrictions like, copy disable, print disable, edit disable, etc. are imposed on the PDF file, which sometimes lead to big problems for the end users. PDF file creators impose restrictions on the PDF file created so that any user can’t copy its content, print the file, edit the content or extract the data from it. All such restrictions are implied on a PDF file just to maintain its copyright feature.
But sometimes we feel the urgent need to remove PDF security or restrictions so that we can just take a part of the PDF file for our work with due credit given. We come across many interesting papers, tutorials, manuals, eBooks, other documents over the internet and all in PDF file format. Obviously, on finding such great piece of works we get tempted to print them or just to extract some part of it or copy the whole file for keeping it safe with us for future reference or so. This is because the original author or PDF file creator have encrypted the file and imposed some restrictions preventing users from printing, modifying, editing, copying, etc. This makes our work stuck in between and we have no choice but to think of removing such PDF file restrictions.
After doing so much of research work and finding the important facts in form of PDF file; now can’t do anything with it. At that time, a common question comes across the mind, how to remove PDF security now? How can I remove the restrictions imposed on the PDF file so that I can print the matter, copy the PDF, edit the same and extract the interesting data from the PDF?

We use selections in Photoshop to isolate editing to specific areas in an image, or for cutting out portions of an image. Similarly, masks are used to protect specific image areas from being modified, or for removing portions of an image. For a more thorough overview on the differences between masks and selections, see part two of my article, All About Masks.
The Marquee Selection ToolsUnless you’re entirely new to Photoshop, you probably have some familiarity with the marquee selection tools. It’s difficult to do much of anything in Photoshop without them. These include the rectangular marquee, the elliptical marquee, the single row horizontal, and single row vertical marquee tools. As you learned in a previous lesson, the shortcut key for the marquee tools is M and Shift M toggles the rectangular and elliptical marquee tools. Let’s look at some additional shortcuts for the marquee tools:
* Holding down the shift key while dragging a selection marquee constrains the selection to a square or circle.
* Holding down the shift key while dragging a selection marquee when an existing selection is active adds to the selection.
* Holding down the Alt/Option key while dragging a selection marquee when an existing selection is active subtracts from the selection.
* Holding down the Alt/Option key while dragging a selection marquee creates the selection from the center out from where you initially clicked.
* The Shift and Alt/Option modifier keys can be used together when making an initial selection to constrain proportions and draw from the center.
* The Shift and Alt/Option modifier keys can be used together when another selection is active to create a selection from the intersection (the areas where the two selections overlap).
* To reposition a selection while you are in the process of drawing it, hold down the spacebar. As long as the spacebar is held down you can move you selection, when you let up on the space bar you can go back to drawing your selection. The selection will not be finalized until you release the mouse button.
* You can move a selection after it has been finalized by moving the cursor inside the selection marquee as long as the marquee tool is active. The cursor will change to look like this and then you can click and drag the marquee into a new position. You can also use the arrows on your keyboard to reposition a selection.
* Ctrl/Command-A selects the entire image.
* Ctrl/Command-D removes the selection.
* Shift-Ctrl/Command-I inverts the selection.
* Ctrl/Command-H acts as a toggle to hide the marquee but preserves the selection.
Notes for Version 6.0
In Photoshop 6, you can also choose the add/subtract/intersect modifiers from the set of buttons on the options bar. Selection Tool Modifiers
In Photoshop 6, the Ctrl/Command-H shortcut toggles more than just the selection marquee, so you may need it to press the key combination multiple times before the marquee is hidden. You can control what items this toggle controls by checking them off in the View > Show submenu.
Marquee Tool OptionsThe marquee tools have some options you can access by double clicking the tool to bring the options palette to the front. You can adjust the feathering, anti-aliasing, and style.
* Feathering lets you fade the edge of the selection, but in most cases you will leave this setting to zero since there are more accurate ways of feathering a selection after it has been drawn.
* Anti-aliasing smoothes out the edges of the selection. You’ll rarely, if ever, need to deactivate this. It will be unavailable for the rectangle selection tool because rectangles always have hard edges.
* The style menu lets you make more precise selections.
o When constrained aspect ratio is chosen you can choose the ratio of width to height. With both values set to 1 you would only be able to draw a perfect square or circle. With a width of 1 and a height of 2 you would create a selection that is two times higher than the width, and so on.
o When fixed width is chosen you can enter a width and height in pixels and just click once to make a selection of that exact size.
Take some time now to try all these options using the marquee selection tools. When you’re ready, continue on to the next lesson on the lasso tools.

If you are trying to enhance an average digital photo then adding a hand-tinted look will create an awesome effect to the image making it look like a masterpiece. With just a couple of tints the photo will literally transform into photos that you will want to share with all of your family and friends.
Now the fist thing you need to do for this and any othe photo edit is to open the photo image and save it with a different name, so that you don\’t lose the original content. One tip would be to always save your image to the desk top so you will always be able to find it at at later date.
Open up the layers palette and drag the photo background layer to the copy icon, forming a new copy of your photo on a different layer and then hit “Target” select this new layer and press SHIFT+CTRL+U to remove the color from the digital photo. Finally hit CTRL+L to bring up the “Levels” dialog.
One good tips here is to remember to hit AUTO to see what it looks like and then tweak from there. Use the Black slider more to the right in order to darken the shadows, or you can move the White slider to the left in order to brighten the highlights and Click OK when you have finished.
The top showing black and white and with the layer still selected, select the eraser tool with a soft round brush set at round 5-10% opacity and about 30 pixels breadth. You will now be able to edit the areas where you would like to see a bit more color but bearing in mind that you are aiming at a nice soft and transparent look. If you need to UNDO at any time just hit CTRL+Z.
You can then increase the the brush size to enhance areas where you would like more color and then you can either merge all of the layers or just flatten and save your fabulous hand-tinted digital photo.

Step1: Locate your favorite DVD to the program-DVD to Windows Movie Maker.
Step 2: Specify output video format compatible for Windows Movie Maker, like AVI.
Step 3: Click “start” button to start the process of ripping DVD movies to .AVI video.
Windows Movie Maker is a basic video editing softwre included in Microsoft Windows. It contains features such as effects, transitions, titles/credits, audio track, timeline narration, and Auto Movie. New effects and transitions can be made and existing ones can be modified using XML code.
The layout consists of a storyboard view and a timeline view, collections for organizing imported video, and a preview screen. When in Storyboard view, the video project appears as a film strip showing each scene in clips. The storyboard/timeline consists of one ‘Video’ (with accompanying ‘Audio’ bar), one ‘Music/Audio’ bar, and one ‘Titles/Credits’ bar. In each bar, clips can be added for editing (e.g., a .wav music file will belong on the ‘Music/Audio’ bar). Still images can also be imported into the timeline and “stretched” to any desired number of frames. The Video and Music/Audio bars can be “cut” to any number of short segments, which will play together seamlessly, but the individual segments are isolated editing-wise, so that for example, the music volume can be lowered for just a few seconds while someone is speaking.
Tools for Website Construction

Construction tools
Whenever something is built, the proper tools are needed to accomplish that task. Starting out, you will need a computer, monitor, printer, a connection to the internet and software. Since the first four are most likely already in place, we will go over choosing software. There are many ways to obtain software necessary for you to make your website. There are freeware programs available that can get you up and running with a few clicks of your mouse. These programs offer no warranty but some of the more popular ones provide a large amount of support in the form of forums and FAQ pages. Another way to get software is to use a trial version. This type of software gives you the ability to use it for either a specified amount of time, with limited features or possibly both. Either way, trial versions can help you decide whether or not to actually purchase a full version based on your opinions from previewing it. The final way is to purchase a fully licensed copy with warranty, instructions and full support if there are any issues.
Editor software
There are ways to design the pages in your website. One is with a What You See Is What You Get (WYSIWYG) editor and the other is with a text editor. WYSIWYG editors provide users the ability to see how their pages will look as they are being created. These editors also give you the ability to type in code as well with a built in text editor. In the commercial market, Adobe has Dreamweaver and Microsoft has Expression. Each offers a trial version with the option to buy but just as with the graphics software, you might be on a budget. Kompozer is a free WYSIWYG editor that has many features available to beginners as well as professionals.
Graphics software
In order for your website to have images on them, you are going to need some form of graphics software. Adobe seems to have the biggest hand in the commercial market with products like Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop Elements. Since most people just starting out are on a tight budget, and by tight budget I mean no money to invest, then getting some of the free software available will be something to look into. Gimp is one such software, which is fairly easy to learn. There are many tutorials that are linked to the Gimp download site. Photo and graphics editors come in many types from the most basic to high-end software capable of making any modifications you could think of. No matter which path you choose, make sure the software can not only edit and create the images you want, but also save them in a format that is web friendly. When designing your website, image optimization is a must. The amount of bandwidth available to visitors varies. Your first step towards the optimization process is to use the proper format. Choosing the correct format alone can cut your file size in half or even more. These include: GIF, JPEG and BMP. Once that is done, simply manipulating a few settings should reduce the file size without losing any or much of the images original integrity.
